Parthenocissus T Veitchii
Boston Ivy - A vigorous climber that will self cling to practically anything by way of creeping tendrils with tiny disc-shaped suckers. The three lobed green foliage turns to spectacular shades of red and purple in autumn. Vigorous and hardy. Deciduous.
Hedera Canariensis
Ivy. Fast growing, vigorous and self-clinging. This is a useful plant when quick coverage of unsightly areas is needed. Glossy, broad, fresh green foliage always looks good and responds well to a trim. Tolerates just about anything. Evergreen.
Hebe Diosmifolia
Delightful little native Hebe that is a good "doer". Small close-set leaves that are dark green above and paler beneath. The pale lavender flowers smother the bush from mid to late spring and gradually fade to white as they mature. Prefers a sunny well drained position. Evergreen.
Griselinia Twilight
Native. An easy to grow shrub which is invaluable for difficult sites as it is tolerant of almost any conditions including coastal. Fresh bright green foliage highlighted by red stems. Particularly useful for hedging. Always looks neat and tidy, trims exceptionally well. Evergreen.
Helleborus Tutu Ballet
Winter Rose. You're going to want to add this gorgeous Hellebore to your collection. Rose pink upright stems of bloom lightly freckled with spots of deep rose. The centre of the flowers is delicately ruffled. Handsome dark green foliage. Plant in semi-shade in humus rich, well drained soil. PVR.
Plum Luisa
A top NZ Plum that produces bumper crops of distinctive oval fruit that have a yellow skin blushed red. The firm flesh is also yellow and divinely sweet and juicy. Good disease resistance. Considered to be self fertile. PVR SFMF019. Deciduous.
Loropetalum Plum Delight
Well you will be 'plum delighted' with this fabulous foliage shrub that looks good all year round. The neat oval leaves are a rich bronze maroon shade, in spring shaggy bright pink flowers start to appear and decorate the somewhat pendulous branches. Grow in the sun or part shade. Evergreen.
Almond Self-fertile
A self-fertile selection that produces large soft shelled nuts. The nuts can be gathered as they drop in autumn or by shaking the tree. Almonds are quite hardy but as they blossom in winter (around August) plant in a sheltered position. Trees usually start producing after 3 years. Deciduous.
