Talk about unusual! Intriguing form of orange that has hand shaped fruit with long fingers. As there is no pulp it is the lemon flavoured zest that makes the fruit desirable in culinary circles. Often used to flavour lemon liqueurs and specialty vodkas so there's a new hobby for you! Evergreen.

Orange Best Seedless Dwarf

As you can tell from the name this Orange is seedless. Originating from NZ this tree has reliable crops of medium sized fruit that are ripe around September. Grafted on to dwarf rootstock making it ideal or container or patio planting. Happiest in a sunny well drained position. Evergreen.

All Citrus like to be well fed and watered especially if grown in a container. They like to be protected from harsh frost too. They are highly ornamental as well as edible and packed full of Vitamin C.

Orange Blood (Sanguinelli)

The Spanish Blood Orange is a thornless, highly productive, evergreen tree. The fruit have smooth, shiny rind and sweet, juicy flesh. The flesh is flecked with red hence the common name. Ripens around August. Plant in the sun in fertile well drained soil.

The 'red' colour of the flesh will be more intense in warmer climates.

Orange Cara Cara Navel

A low acid orange which produces bountiful crops of virtually seedless fruit. The flesh is quite pale in colour. Plant in a sunny well drained position. Evergreen.

This navel orange has an excellent flavour and sweet juicy flesh with a fine texture, few seeds. Easy peel. Ripens from July to September. Good vigorous upright habit. Oranges are happiest in a sunny well drained position with protection from harsh frost. Evergreen.

Orange Cipo Weeping

Here's something a little different - a naturally weeping and cascading Orange Tree that is perfect for container or court-yard gardening. The large fruit are sweet and juicy with few seeds and ripen from July to November. Highly ornamental and deliciously edible. Evergreen.

Orange Dble Navelina/Harwood Late

Two oranges on 1 tree now thats 'a-peeling'. 'Navelina' has dark skinned juicy fruit that are ready about November. Crops well. 'Harwood Late' (NZ variety) produces thin skinned, juicy oranges with an excellent flavour that ripen from autumn onwards. Plant in a sunny, well drained position. Evergreen.

All Citrus love being fed and watered regularly, especially if container grown. They respond quickly to a little pampering and will reward you for your efforts. When harvesting the fruit cut rather than pull off the tree.
