Cycas Revoluta

Commonly known as the Japanese Sago Palm but not recommended for making a Sago pudding! Slow growing and evergreen this Cycad has dark green, spine tipped leaves with rolled back margins hence the name 'revoluta'. Plant in sun or shade and protect from harsh frost. Will do well in a container.

Macrozamia Communis

A medium sized Cycad with a graceful crown of pleasant green fronds. Makes an excellent speciman for containers and will grow in full sun or filtered sun to shade. Also tolerant of heavy frosts. Endemic of Australia these cycads grow in poor rocky and mostly dry soils. They grow well in New Zealand and large specimens can be found growing in pots on decks and terraces. Communis will frond up from the ground, almost fern like in habit. Fertilise sparingly.
