Beschorneria y Reality
A bold landscaping plant with cream and green arching variegated leaves up to 1m long that form a large clump. In spring a flower spike with dark pink bracts rises above the the foliage. Can be grown in sun or part shade. Drought tolerant once established. Best protected from frost. Evergreen.
This variety of Beschorneria is considered to more cold hardy than others. It will probably tolerate a light frost but will do better in a warm well drained spot with protection from harsh conditions. Suitable for a container and would certainly look quite dramatic in one.
