Pittos (from Gayle)
Tuesday, 20th October 2009 09:54:28 PM

We have planted 4 different varieties of Pitto in the last year and 3 of them have just flowered and are now dropping their leaves. They are not large specimens, the tallest is prehaps 1.5m and the smallest 90cm. We have recently put in irrigation but have not used it because we have had so much rain. Is there anything that we can do to help these natives from dying?

it depends on whether they are actually dying. I'm sure that many evergreens go through a spring moult as they grow new seasons leaves. alternatively is the position too wet, planted too deep?
