Trying to source McGredy Roses (from Georgina)
Saturday, 14th June 2008 08:09:05 PM

I am creating a special McGredy garden. To do this I am trying to source McGredy roses (from the 3 generations of rose breeding McGredys) that are not commercially available - the others have been ordered and/or purchased. Dr Sam McGredy is supportive of and enthusiastic about what I am doing. If you have any roses that I might be interested in please email me georgec@net.co.nz

What a great idea. Here is a list of the McGredy roses we currently have in stock: McGredy's Yellow Jillian McGredy Coventry Cathedral Clodagh McGredy Big Daddy Dublin Bay Bantry Bay Galway Bay Edmund Hillary and the new and glorious Hamilton Gardens. Please let us know if you wish to order these.

An update of how things are going for McGredy collection. I currently have sourced about 150 roses and are on the hunt stil for many elusive roses. One I would really like to find is Golden Emblem. I noticed the email address was incorrect in my first piece - georgec@xnet.co.nz Georgina
