For any one that is interested, some rose growing workshops are being held at the Chapel Hill comunity Church cnr of Cate and Rototuna Roads Hamilton 24/07/08 Pruning and planting 7.30pm 28/08/08 Easy care culture 7.30pm 25/09/08 New varieties 7.30pm

Winter time is the best time to move a rose bush. If your roses have started to bud then this is not the time to be shifting them as the sap will have started to rise.
