There really is only one word for NZ's 'Gala' apple - superb. Crisp, crunchy, white juicy flesh that is aromatic and just tastes so good when picked straight off the tree on a warm summers day. Nice red blush to the yellow skin. Ripe in summer around February. Deciduous.
Suitable for warmer areas including Auckland/Northland
