Native. Very attractive fern with lush, glossy, green fronds that can be up to 1m long. Likes a semi-shaded position in humus rich soil that is not too wet. Ideal for naturalizing under large trees. Also happy in a container. Protect from frost. Evergreen.
The Maori Name for this fern is Huruhuru Whenua.
