Native. A fabulous foliage plant with clean shiny foliage that has golden tones in summer. As autumn approaches and the temperatures drop the foliage gradually changes to tones of deep orange and fiery red. Will grow just about anywhere but needs protection from harsh frost. Evergreen. PVR1086.

'Evening Glow' will benefit from a hair cut every now and then. This is best done around about February on a warm dry day.

Golden Star has been bred in New Zealand for our conditions and has been selected for its earth golden tones that will fit in any garden situation. Stays tidy and compact. As Autumn approaches the colours change to more Golden. Great to bring some colour other than green to any garden.

A beautiful cultivar of NZ's native Coprosma commonly known as the 'Mirror Plant' because of the glossy leaves. 'Scarlett O'Hara' has reddish orange variegated foliage that intensifies in colour when the temperatures are cool. Plant in sun or part shade and protect from harsh frost. Evergreen.

Coprosmas can be used for a little low hedge as they respond really well to trimming. The last trim before winter should be done no later than March.
