The Ginkgo is an ancient and revered tree that is actually a Conifer. Ginkgo are very tolerant of pollution and popular for street planting. It is usually only the Male trees that are cultivated for ornamental planting as they do not have the 'Stinko' fruits produced by the Female trees.
