The common name for this small tree is Crepe Myrtle because of the clusters pretty 'crinkled' deep magenta flowers that appear from summer to autumn. Along with the flowers there is attractive bronze-green foliage and smooth bark. Plant in a warm sheltered position. Deciduous.
