Lagerstroemia - Crepe (or Crape) Myrtle – a versatile and showy specimen tree! Crepe Myrtles are an upright deciduous tree or large shrub that have dark green leaves emerging bronze. The crinkled flowers, hence the name "crepe", appear from summer to autumn in shades of white, pink, red or purple. Crepe Myrtles require moderately fertile, well-drained soil. Best planted in a warm sheltered position.
